Adopt a Spot Program

NEW in 2013—Adopt a Spot volunteer beautification program!

In honor of celebrating the 5th Lake County Fair at the new fairgrounds in Grayslake, the Lake County Fair Association is seeking volunteers to help make the fairgrounds more beautiful and lush for fairgoers. “Adopters” will take responsibility for designing, planting, and maintaining their garden spots that will be on display throughout the summer and showcased during the 85th annual Lake County Fair from July 24—28, 2013.

A Best of Show competition will award “Green ribbons” to the best spots in both amateur and professional categories.
